Description

Morwenna is a beautiful Steel schooner designed by Max Carter and meticulously built by Mitchell Marine, crafted with the vision of a seasoned world cruiser. Conceived as the ultimate liveaboard and long-range yacht, no expense has been spared in her construction. She is structurally complete, with extensive high-end systems installed, and is currently liveable and operational under power. While her hydraulic systems are fully installed and mast stubs are in place, she still requires spars, rigging, and sails to realise her full sailing potential.

The craftsmanship throughout Morwenna is exceptional. From the robust engineered steel hull to the finely crafted interior joinery and sophisticated systems—including dual generators, high-capacity hot water systems, and separate full-sized showers—every detail reflects thoughtful design and top-tier workmanship. Please note: the water maker, both generators, and the air conditioning system are installed but have yet to be commissioned.

Her versatile layout balances comfort and practicality. A wide, open transom offers easy access to the sea, leading to a spacious cockpit. The deckhouse saloon is bright and inviting—perfect for dining or relaxing. Below deck, a second saloon connects to a generous, fully equipped galley designed for extended living, complemented by a separate laundry/scullery to keep everything shipshape.

Accommodation includes three cabins: a bunk room aft, a forward guest cabin, and a well-appointed master suite with an ensuite and separate shower. The engine room is a true standout—a professionally laid-out space that’s both functional and beautifully executed, with newly commissioned systems ready for immediate use.

Whether you’re looking to complete her as a capable, world-class sailing yacht or enjoy her in her current configuration as a luxurious motor cruiser or liveaboard, Morwenna represents a rare opportunity to capitalise on a nearly completed dream project. The hard work has been done—now she’s ready for your vision.
