    Yachting France Jouet 1280

    Govia marina, Greece
    1986
    $103,720

Jouet 1280 Ketch – Life of Brian Built 1985 by Yachting France purchased from new by current owner. -          Uk vat paid -          Cruised extensively UK, France, Spain, Mediterranean, Adriatic and now moored in Gouvia marina, Corfu. -          Perfect boat for family cruising and liveaboards -          Length – 15m overall (inc davits), Hull 12.8m Beam 4.26m Draft 1.9m – complete spec attached -          9 berths in 4 cabins + saloon -          Internal and external helms Equipment: ·         86hp Volvo inboard with 3 blade folding maxprop ·         3.5m Avon Rib with 40 hp outboard motor on Simpson davits ·         Raymarine SPX autohelm ·         Bowthruster ·         Diesel heater ·         Passarelle ·         Stern bathing ladder ·         Bimini frame,  cover and shades for each cockpit ·         Fitted cushions and backs for each cockpit ·         Fly bridge with Solar panels ·         Fridge ·         Furling Genny, Jib, Spinnaker, Main & Mizzen ·         Water skis & various inflatables (U tube/doughnuts ..) ·         Scuba gear ·         Second inflatable with 5 hp outboard ·         Inverter ·         Windlass + 2 anchors       Owner comment; Had many happy years onboard, mainly cruised with family (children 0 years upwards) Originally kept in Uk and sailed Solent with school holiday adventures to France/ Channel Islands – then further to Northern Spain/Portugal and eventually moved to the med. It is a very comfortable cruiser & is different to the average run of yachts in that: ·         The internal steering and windows give good external visibility – brilliant for night sailing & cold weather, means you can be down below to make tea etc, keep watch forward and steer ·         Has 2 cockpits with enough lying out room for 6 at any one time. Most boats only have one cockpit where you are forced to sit when sailing ·         Has dining table in the aft cockpit that enables very civilized dining when at anchor or sea. No having to eat down below or trying to eat with food on laps. Makes for very different dinner parties. ·         Has a full length Bimini covering both cockpits with detachable side screens to give protection against sun and rain  ·         Has a Rib mounted on aft davits that enables all of the fun water sports (skiing, inflatable rings etc), capable of transporting 4/5 people over a distance at speed   One real advantage is the feeling of space down below & the ability to see out – which helps avoid any feeling of travel sickness An excellent cruising boat
