A unique boat, a unique opportunity,
To take up sailing from the past, Bart Verschoor had this wooden boat built in 2021 based on the Norwegian fishing boats that were used at sea in the early 1900s.
Built at the yard of Museene i Sør-Trøndelag AS in Trondheim, Norway.

Bart was full of admiration while watching the craftsmanship and named the boat Yggdrasil, a Norwegian mythical name for the tree in the center of the universe.
Proudly manning this open boat with plenty of wind, he sailed with great pleasure from city to Wadden Sea.
Now in 2024, with new projects underway, there may be interest in continuing the adventure with this special boat.
