The Garcia Exploration 45 is the reference sailboat of the Exploration range from Garcia.

The concept was to build a full-keel sailboat with an aluminum hull dedicated to long voyages.

The Garcia 45 was born from the sailing experience of Jimmy Cornell combined with the Berret-Racoupeau design office.

After hundreds of thousands of nautical miles accumulated, Jimmy Cornell wanted to create the perfect boat, capable of taking its crew to the ends of the earth in both icy and tropical conditions.

This resulted in the creation of a unique sailboat, the Exploration 45.

Equipped with two rudders, it performs very well at sea and remains easily maneuverable under any conditions.

It will allow you to traverse all the seas of the globe.

The maneuvers are grouped in the cockpit under the dog house to secure and facilitate adjustments or sail changes while sailing.

You can easily move around the deck thanks to the numerous handrails within reach as well as the mast foot balconies.

The sail locker separated by a watertight bulkhead at the front allows for easy storage of a complete set of sails.

In the saloon, you will find a warm and bright interior.

You will particularly enjoy an incredible panoramic view; it will be entirely possible to enjoy the comfort of the saloon while controlling the boat from the interior watch station. The saloon table can be converted into a berth; it is a two-cabin version with two bathrooms and toilets.

This comfort version includes a rear bathroom with a separate shower as well as an additional berth in the lower part of the corridor as desired by Jimmy CORNELL.

This 29th Exploration 45 launched from the GARCIA yard was launched in April 2021.

From Cherbourg to the Caribbean, the nautical miles accumulated without incident show that you can be sure it will take you safely to your destination.

Regarding the sails, it features a performance rigging pack with a fully battened mainsail and an Incidence solent.

Notably, it includes: a staysail on a furler, an asymmetrical spinnaker with a pole, and rigging in place for downwind sails + Lazy-Bag and Lazy Jack.

For maneuvers, 4 electric winches replacing manual winches will make your life easier.

The boat is equipped with an AB Hypalon 310 dinghy with a Tohatsu 9.8HP engine.

For optimal comfort, it includes an induction stove (allowing you to do without gas on board), a compact 3kg 220V washing machine, a 100L/h watermaker, and a Webasto heater.

But also 3X375W solar panels, a Fisher Panda 5000i generator, and a Watt and Sea hydro generator.

For serene navigation, this boat is equipped with a B&G electronic pack with 2 screens, an AIS transponder, and a B&G broadband 4G Radome antenna.
