Description

Excess 11 Fully Equipped & “Papeetised”, Available in French Polynesia, Papeete, from January 2026

7% import tax (“Papeetisation”) already paid, a major advantage for cruising in French Polynesia and for legally renting the boat if desired.

Owner’s version, performance rig, Code 0, 1125W solar, 840 Ah batteries + 1kWh lithium, fully bluewater-ready.

Unique configuration: one forward peak has been converted into a proper cabin (perfect for a skipper or occasional guest).
Te Ava was the very first Excess 11 to arrive in Tahiti, delivered by Sail Tahiti (exclusive dealer for new Excess in the Pacific). She served as the flagship demo model for Excess, and therefore has been exceptionally well equipped and maintained.
Carbon helm stations aft deliver true sailing sensations while freeing the cockpit. With her “Pulse Line” performance rig, she sails as soon as the breeze hits 7 knots, when most other cruising catamarans are still under engine. The interior volume is astonishing for an 11m catamaran, featuring for instance a 2m x 2m bed in the owner’s cabin, something rarely found even on 46ft cats, yet the hulls remain sleek below the waterline for great performance.
Built in December 2021, Te Ava will be available again in Tahiti from December 2025 / January 2026, after our family voyage through French Polynesia. Delivery possible to Bora Bora, Huahine, Raiatea, Marquesas.
Te Ava has had 3 owners: Sail Tahiti, a family of 4 who cruised Polynesia, and ourselves (2 adults, 2 children and a baby!). Thanks to the converted forward peak cabin with extra porthole, we could host up to 8 people onboard comfortably.

Prepared by Sail Tahiti for bluewater cruising, Te Ava is fully upgraded beyond factory options. She is completely self-sufficient in water and energy under the tropics. We are a family of 5 currently doing a 6 months-trip in Polynesia.

Numerous photos and videos available on request.
