Bridge

FOR THE PLANET was built as "Advens 1" and originally branded as "LINKED OUT" when she was first launched in July 2019. From inception of the project Thomas Ruyant was skipper, who along with his team oversaw the build of the boat, which was undertaken as Persico Marine, Italy, the worlds premier carbon boat builders across both inshore, offshore and the Americas Cup. Thomas Ruyant raced the boat extremely successfully until the end of the 2022 season, where Sam Goodchild took over as skipper and the boat was re-branded FOR THE PLANET, where her success story has continued in abundance, culminating in overall victory in the 2023 IMOCA Globe Series. ADVENS 1 is a boat ahead of her years and without question one of the fastest in the IMOCA fleet. She is available after the 2024 VENDEE GLOBE and is an opportunity not to be missed. For example the TRR team who currently manage the boat can offer future expertise, shed space and even day to day management should it be required for the next owners campaign.

Machinery

ADVENS 1 is supplied with an extremely extensive hardware package, from high-level electronics, to top of the range safety and communication equipment and finally her brilliantly prepared rigging and deck package that has left no stone un-turned in the pursuit of performance with reliability, which is the real engine room of this IMOCA 60. Tens of thousands of hours have gone into preparing the boat for the highest level of performance possible and ADVENS 1 has the ability to save her next owner years of development time, particularly in sail handling and foil control systems, where no doubt she is exceptionally strong. Hardware overview includes: - Harken AIR winches x 4 with linked single pedestal. - Hydraulic systems to adjust foil rake and keel canting mechanisms. - B&G electronics are the backbone for navigation with additional sensor to monitor live loads being felt by the yacht. - Upgraded twin rudder system with kick up option. Upgraded 2024 rudder gudgeon set. - Improved foil cases to cope with higher loads and rake changes. - Additional J3 bulkhead structure in bow area updated in 2023. Further longitudinal structure fwd of mast tower added 2022. Increased structure from sisterships. - Custom central navigation seat added to below decks for navigation 2024. - Custom seating added to cockpit to help with slamming loads whilst maintaining sail control. - Highest spec electronics and communication, including QUADRANS compass, SkySat/B&G pilots and SeaAi thermal imaging for collision prevention. - Complete and up to date safety kit package supplied with the yacht. Accommodation

ADVENS 1 will be supplied with a FULL set of North Sails, optimized to the latest designs and layout for the TRR team.
The inventory is new in 2024 and will be used only in the Vendee Globe 2024.

All structural cables replaced for Vendee 2024.
Several older spare cables available (Feb 2023).
All required sail furlers included with associated rigging hardware..

The seller will be happy to include all tuning and IP/data regarding the optimum sail performance.
