Description
Compass Rose is a light displacement sailing cruiser that was designed to be comfortable, nimble, and not shy about shoal waters. She is very responsive on any point of sail and also motors in a very tight turning radius. The redundancy of twin 80 hp Yanmars with ample sail configurations can provide enhanced speed and maneuverability in most conditions. All lines lead back to cockpit and there are robust padeyes for harnessing in. Lg interior volume will not give you the typical sailboat feel. Well appointed storage areas throughout with hanging lockers as well. Traveler is mounted to Lg SS arch so no boom interaction can occur in the cockpit. For convenience, the Mack stack pack is used for quick dousing of main. Ground tackle consists of 60 lb Delta on 150 ft chain-250 ft nylon rode with a secondary 40 lb Fortress on 25 ft chain-200 ft nylon rode. Very distictive/classic design and guaranteed to turn heads.

Accommodations
Master en-suite forward cabin with additional sink and vanity, stb-aft guest en-suite cabin, port-aft cabin. Stb setee-converts to sleep/lounge area (table is electronic height adjust from dining, coffee table, lounge height). Heads are Vacu-Flush and have 70 gal holding tank with macerator. Shower stalls are separate from heads. Custom plush mattresses for all three cabins (queen sized). All 3 cabins have some sort of hanging wardrobe area and rope netting hammock for extra storage. Stb-aft en-suite shower doubles as a hanging wet locker. Port-aft cabin with custom bundling board for securing storage containers.
Toilets upgrade to oval configuration.
Height throughout vessel easily accomodates a 6'5'' + crew member.
Bowmar ports and hatches throughout.
Plush cushions in salon and for cockpit (like new condition).
Mechanical Equipment
Electric furling 95% jib, keel fully adjustable from 1-7 foot via Ramsey 12k electric winch (which gives min draft at 2.5 ft), hefty electric windlass, all winches but one are electric by Andersen, 9 hp Sidepower bow thruster, flexofold props (two folding 4 fin props in opposite screw config), dinghy davits, twin rudders fully retractable, hydraulic vang. All water intake through hulls with Groco sea strainers. All through hulls for seawater ingress protected with bronze scoop strainers.
Good access to mechanicals and a very clean/labeled electrical wiring.
Galley Equipment
Shot-gun galley: Lg 2-well double sink, plenty of corian countertop for prep, 3-burner Force 10 propance stove/oven, isotherm frig, isotherm icemaker, frigo freezer, microwave, Seagull water filtration system. Two fiberglass Viking propane tanks in vented port-aft locker with easy accomodation for Magma grill (mounted on crossbar of dinghy davits).
Deck and Hull Equipment
Harken fairlead deck line organizers with Garhauer rope clutches. All Andersen winches (5) are electric but one.
Heavy duty Lewmar vertical windlass with capstan.
Deck prisms for light below in fwd cabin.
Lg anchor locker fwd of stateroom. Fresh water deck wash.
Lg bimini/dodger for protection from elements. Teak in cockpit.

Navigation Systems
All recent upgraded Raymarine Axiom chartplotters (at both inside and outside helm positions), three P70 Raymarine contol heads on Edson helm pedestal, vhf with remote mic, autopilot with wireless remote, radar, AIS, gyro compass, redundant gps. Icom marine/ham SSB. Lg windows on pilothouse gives an almost 360 degree view from interior Stidd helm chair. Richie compass.
