The Hanse 575 is a modern, high-performance sailing yacht known for its excellent sailing characteristics, spacious interior layout, and intelligent deck design. Throughout the entire construction phase at the Hanse shipyard, the yacht's build was professionally monitored and documented by an independent surveyor. Upon completion, she was thoroughly inspected and certified by a GL-DNV (Germanischer Lloyd – DNV) expert.

This yacht impresses with luxurious high-performance sailing capabilities as well as a host of advanced safety features. It features the sought-after three-cabin owner’s layout: A spacious owner’s suite in the bow includes a private ensuite bathroom with an oversized shower, while two generously sized aft cabins share a second bathroom, also with a shower. The bright and airy saloon invites relaxation and sociable gatherings and can easily be converted into additional berths if required. High-quality materials and thoughtfully designed interiors combine elegance with functionality throughout.

The fully equipped galley is ideal for long-term cruising or independent living on board. It features a large double refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler, and a separate washing machine with integrated dryer. Thanks to the 32,000 BTU air conditioning system, generator, and shore power connection, you enjoy full onboard comfort – regardless of harbour infrastructure or weather conditions.

The modern deck layout provides ample space for sunbathing and features a spacious cockpit area protected by a Bimini top and sprayhood, offering a perfect space for outdoor leisure. The deck is finished in elegant teak, blending practicality with timeless style.

Excellent sailing performance is ensured by the premium North Sails 3D Performance sail set. The 106% genoa and in-boom furling mainsail deliver powerful propulsion and easy handling. Additional sails include a Code 0 and a gennaker, which significantly enhance light wind performance. All lines are conveniently led aft to the cockpit, where four electric Harken winches allow for effortless and safe sail trimming under any conditions. Docking is made easy by powerful bow and stern thrusters, enabling confident manoeuvring even with a small crew.

Maintenance History:

Burning Desire spent March-June 2024 out of the water in Ao Po Marina. As well as quite a thought servicing list, there were also some upgrades, listed below:

Underwater:

• all seacocks were pulled out and changed for bronze fittings.
• the stern theater was fully serviced, a complete new seal kit, the motor was serviced and the stainless plate that connects to the hull was changed for new
• The bow thruster was fully serviced, a complete new seal kit, the motor was serviced and the stainless plate that connects to the hull was changed for new. A The new shaft and housing was exchanged for new as well as a new actuator and control board.
• 4 protruding underwater lights were changed for 2 low profile Lumishore Ora lights. All 4 holes were closed up and the new lights were repositioned.
• Rope cutter was serviced
• Propeller was pulled apart and fully serviced
• A brand new engine shaft was fabricated
• The cutlass bearing was changed for new
• The rudder was taken out and bearings checked and serviced, the gaiter seal was changed for new
• The state of the bottom was very good, well protected from previous Expoxy barrier and Coppercoat application done by Solidair previously. The bottom was completely taken back to gelcoat. The keel was treated. Some minor repairs to the rudder as to be expected. Then a complete new Copper coat application. Interspeed went on the shaft and Propeller.

Full Generator service. The Fischer Panda 8000i unit was completely pulled apart, each part cleaned and serviced and painted like new. All seals and gaskets changed, he muffler was replaced, gearbox serviced, heat exchanger cleaned and serviced and there is a spare heat exchanger on board. Since then it has had regular maintenance procedures. 

Engine Service. Full maintenance service, painted in areas.

Williams tender 

• the hypalon tubes where were serviced 
• The engine was removed and fully cleaned, serviced and painted.
