Description
2014 Bruce Roberts Spay A370 “Acier”
Acier is a semi-custom design from respected and successful Australian designer Bruce Roberts-Goodson. The concept of the Spray was inspired by Joshua Slocum’s sea-hearty boat of the same name. This design is in accordance with the world-wide accepted certification of Lloyds for category 1 (unrestricted operating / sailing area.) Acier was finished to a high standard and was fitted with good quality accommodation as confirmed by the last survey. (July 2023). With some upgrades, she has completed a transatlantic passage on her own keel as well as extended offshore passage making.
Bruce Roberts designs remain a popular steel hull choice for the discerning blue water sailor with serious offshore aspirations.
