Description
2010 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i
We are very pleased to add this well kept 2010 Jeanneau Odyssey 36i to our sailing fleet of offerings.
Designed by Marc Lombard, the 36i is a powerful performer. With a modern hull and generous sail plan she will get you where you want to go making great time.
When first onboard you will notice the roomy yet safe layout of the cockpit with beautiful teak seating throughout.
The easy to use running rig with all lines led to the cockpit through free running Harken blocks and line organizers will make her a breeze to sail even when the going gets exciting. Step below and you'll find lots of natural light in this spacious salon. The blonde and teak wood motif is contemporary yet classic and aids in keeping things nice and bright below.
This two cabin layout has large comfortable berths with an additional berth converted in the main salon. There is great storage throughout the boat but this layout offers another large storage area in the port quarter aft of the shower. Great for all your fun gear.

General Overview
2010 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i
When it comes to production boatbuilding, no one on the current manufacturing tableau does it any better than the French builder Jeanneau, and the proof of that statement is very much in evidence with the Sun Odyssey 36i. The "i" stands for injection molding, the process - in which resin is injected under pressure through closed molds - that the company employs for the 36i's balsa-cored decks as well as for other components. It makes for lighter, stronger structures and cleaner, more environmentally friendly factories. The hull itself is hand-laid fiberglass utilizing two layers of vinylester resin, to which an internal fiberglass grid-Jeanneau calls this its '3rd Generation Hull Structure'- is glued and laminated for strength and rigidity.
All this would be rendered moot if the design itself didn't meet a certain level of performance and aesthetics, but French naval architect Marc Lombard, who made his name with sleek and powerful offshore raceboats, conceived the 36i, and he's delivered a boat that looks smart and modern and sails very well. In profile, the boat is clearly a member of the extended Sun Odyssey family. With its fractional rig, gentle sheer, and low-slung coach roof, it's a classic example of a contemporary performance cruiser.
Broker's Comments
2010 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 36i
This is my favorite layout and sailboat for that matter in the 36 foot range! She is high quality and as stated previously, a performance cruiser. Her current owner takes meticulous care of her and she is ready to go on her next adventure. Why do I like this boat so much? That's easy. Her layout is one of the most well thought out layouts in a boat of this size. The cockpit is large and comfortable and easy to move around. The swim platform and ladder provide easy access to the stern's lower platform making this boat perfect for the Bahamas!
Downstairs, the cabin spaces are light and airy and her beam gives you plenty of room for cooking, dining and sleeping. The berths are generous and there is a huge storage area just aft of the shower. The head is roomy and has a separate shower area. The dining area is very comfortable and converts to a berth, if needed. The galley is also well laid out where you can cook up your fresh fish of the day!
If you are looking for a capable sailing vessel that is swift and comfortable, look no further. Just call me for an exclusive showing! Now is the time. The Bahamas are calling!
