Step aboard the SY Mermaid, a stunning 34-meter ultra-luxury gulet crafted in 2009 at the renowned Dede (Cavusoglu) Shipyard in Bodrum. Meticulously renovated in 2017 and 2020, this exquisite yacht combines timeless craftsmanship with modern upgrades to offer an unparalleled sailing experience.
Originally a private yacht for exclusive guests, SY Mermaid has been operating commercially since 2019 under the Maltese flag. Powered by twin 450 HP John Deere engines, it gracefully cruises at speeds between 10 and 14 knots. Accommodating up to 10 guests in 5 elegantly appointed cabins—including a master suite, three doubles, and a twin—this yacht is perfect for families or groups seeking luxury and comfort.
Enjoy the ease of sailing with a well-maintained sloop rig, hydraulic furling, and electric winches that make handling the sails effortless. Every aspect of SY Mermaid is cared for with precision, undergoing rigorous annual inspections and maintenance to meet the highest commercial standards under Maltese authority supervision.
All cabins on SY Mermaid are equipped with air conditioning, TV, DVD player, music system, and en-suite bathrooms with showers; the VIP master cabin also features a jacuzzi. The interior salon offers a spacious seating area, dining space, and unlimited air conditioning for maximum comfort. The deck areas, including the flybridge, are teak-covered and were renovated after 2017. Standard features include a jacuzzi, seating and dining areas, sunbathing cushions, ladders for easy access to the sea, and an outdoor shower.
The fully equipped galley includes an oven, refrigerator, deep freezer, ice maker, and coffee machines. Additionally, the yacht has cold storage and dry provisions storage rooms. Entertainment and water sports equipment include a 100 HP service boat, canoe, water skiing gear, ringo, wakeboard, jet ski, paddleboard, diving equipment, snorkelling gear, and fishing tackle.
The Sun Deck area, together with the flybridge, offers approximately 140 square meters of usable space. The lower deck provides unlimited comfort with air conditioning throughout. All the yacht’s documentation is complete and up to date. SY Mermaid offers an unforgettable sea experience with its luxurious and spacious living areas and can be used either as a private yacht, as originally intended in 2009, or for charter purposes. If acquired for charter, it is important to note that the yacht can be delivered with a professional crew of 7.
The yacht completed all pre-season maintenance and was relaunched in June 2025. Viewings are by appointment only and will be arranged in advance at Kos and/or Bodrum marinas. Please schedule appointments at least one week prior to the planned visit date.
