Description
2008 Caliber 47 LRC
Highest-Spec Example Built | Hull #24 of 25 | Extensive Refit | Turnkey World Cruiser
This 2008 Caliber 47 LRC represents the most highly specified Caliber 47 ever built and one of the very last examples launched. Hull #24 of just 25 produced, she has recently completed a major systems refit highlighted by a modern lithium battery bank and fully integrated Victron energy system—bringing an already legendary offshore platform firmly into the present day.
Built by Caliber Yachts for serious passagemaking, the Caliber 47 LRC is renowned for its solid fiberglass construction, center-cockpit layout, exceptional tankage, and proven offshore pedigree. This particular vessel has been meticulously upgraded, sorted, and inspected, making her an outstanding opportunity for sailors seeking a no-compromise bluewater cruiser.
Full Disclosure & Provenance
During Hurricane Ian, the vessel was located in Fort Myers. She broke free of her mooring and came to rest on her starboard side after storm surge receded, resulting primarily in cosmetic abrasion damage. The boat was carefully recovered and has since undergone a comprehensive inspection from masthead to keel, with all necessary repairs completed. As a result, she is now arguably one of the most thoroughly inspected and well-sorted Caliber 47s in existence.
She carries a clean and clear USCG documented title and is fully equipped and ready to take her next owners anywhere in the world with confidence.
