Description
2007 Privilege 495 Owners Version | Arkouda
Designed by Marc Lombard and built by Alliaura Marine in France, Arkouda is a professionally maintained Privilege 495, regarded as one of the world’s most capable and comfortable long-distance cruising catamarans. This sought-after 3-cabin owner’s version delivers the perfect blend of space, luxury and offshore readiness.
Forward, the impressive owner’s suite spans both hulls and the central nacelle, featuring a full-width king-size berth. Each hull includes private washing facilities – port with toilet and basin, starboard with a rain-style multisport shower. Aft on the starboard side is a spacious inboard pilot berth, additional storage outboard and a queen-size guest cabin with ensuite.
On the port side, the galley connects directly to the owner’s suite, allowing easy access at all hours. Aft of the galley is a second queen guest cabin with ensuite.
The saloon offers panoramic views, a full navigation station, a generous lounge and dining space for six. Stepping aft, the enclosed teak cockpit features a portside helm with full instrumentation and a starboard-side extendable dining table. A solid bimini and seasonal enclosures provide protection from sun and weather.
Arkouda is bluewater ready and in excellent condition for her year. All hatches were rebuilt in 2019 and extra boarding ladders are fitted. She is powered by twin Yanmar 4JH4E 54hp diesel engines (2007), and benefits from recent updates and careful ownership.
Now lying in Phuket, Thailand, Arkouda is ready for her next adventure. With her current owners transitioning to life ashore for family commitments, this is a rare opportunity to own a proven and elegant liveaboard cruising catamaran.
