2007 Leopard 43 | Time Out
Time Out is a well-presented 2007 Leopard 43 sailing catamaran, internationally respected for her blend of performance, comfort and proven bluewater capability. Designed by the renowned Morelli & Melvin team, the Leopard 43 has built a lasting reputation as a safe, spacious and practical cruising platform, equally at home exploring New Zealand’s coastline or undertaking extended offshore passages.
Configured in the highly desirable four-cabin layout, Time Out offers impressive accommodation for family cruising or hosting guests. A hallmark of the Leopard design is the generous forward cabins, each featuring transverse island beds that maximise space and comfort. Additional forepeak berths provide flexible sleeping options, allowing her to comfortably accommodate a larger crew when required.
The cockpit is spacious, well protected and designed for social living, enhanced by quality clears and mesh enclosures that create an adaptable all-weather space. Wide sugar scoop transoms provide safe and easy access to the water, dinghy or dock, adding to both comfort and practicality.
Inside, the saloon and galley reflect Leopard’s proven seagoing philosophy. The galley is well equipped with gas cooking, an induction hob and a convection microwave oven, offering excellent versatility whether cruising off-grid or connected to shore power. Storage and bench space are generous, supporting comfortable long-term living aboard.
Recent upgrades include an improved battery system, approximately 950 watts of solar, a 5,000-watt inverter, watermaker and wind generator, delivering excellent energy independence. With comprehensive Raymarine and Simrad electronics including forward-scanning sonar, Time Out is a capable, well-equipped catamaran ready to be enjoyed immediately. She is currently located in Mahurangi Harbour, New Zealand.
