NEW STANDING RIGGING / NEW HULL PAINT - Just like a brand new one!!!
SY Karisma Sen is a well-crafted 2007 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49DS, renowned for its enjoyable sailing performance and comfort. It features a powerful sail area-to-displacement ratio, enabling impressive sailing capabilities even in breezy conditions.
Refitting and Maintenance (Feb 2024 - July 2024)
The boat underwent an extensive refit during this period, enhancing both its aesthetics and functionality:
Deck and Cockpit: The teak deck on the swim platform and teak step aft were renewed. New sprayhood, bimini top, cockpit cushions, and sun beds were installed. Steering wheels and sprayhood handrails are covered with leather.
Interior: Floors, companionway stairs, and some saloon bulkheads were varnished. All hatch windows were replaced. Refrigerators were fully serviced, and all gas rams for lockers and refrigerators were replaced. Ceiling lamps were upgraded to LED.
Sails and Rigging: Sails were inspected and UV covers renewed by UK Sailmakers and Sharp Marine, both confirming good condition. The original standing rigging was renewed earlier in 2022 by M2 Rigging in Marmaris.
Mechanical Systems: The engine (upgraded to a robust 110 HP Yanmar diesel with 2085 hours, replacing the original 75 HP), transmission, engine cooling system, generator, electrical winches, windlass, water maker, and air conditioning water pumps were fully serviced by Marlin Yachting. Cutlass bearing, rudder bearing, and deep seal were renewed by TMS Yachting.
Hull and Antifouling: The hull was repainted, waterline stickers removed and repainted, and two coats of Micron Extra antifouling paint applied after sea cock replacements.
Comfort Systems: Four air conditioning units are installed and fully operational.

A desk with an ottoman, ample bookshelves, and clothes storage.
