Description
X-YACHT, a modern shipyard for series yachts and a market leader in performance cruisers since the mid-1980s, thanks to its passion for design, quality, and the desire to achieve ever-higher goals in performance and functionality of deck equipment, has managed to develop a luxury model of X-Yacht, the X-562, which allows smaller crews to manage larger yachts with greater ease and safety.
Integrated bathing platform, top-quality teak, satin-finished furniture, Frau upholstery, and deck equipment from the most respected suppliers in the world are all features that make the X-562 the benchmark for high-performance luxury yachts of this size.
HULL
The construction of the hull and deck is in sandwich with isophthalic resins. The core material is Divinycell, solid laminated in the keel and rudder.
All structural bulkheads are made of marine plywood with a thickness ranging from 16-32 mm, firmly glued to both the hull and the deck, significantly increasing the structural rigidity of the hull.
A galvanized steel "H" frame forms the bottom of the hull, supporting all loads from the keel, mast, and equipment.
The rudder blade is made of hand-laminated biaxial material. The rudder shaft is conical aluminum.
DECK
The X-562 has a highly efficient and functional deck layout, adaptable for both cruising and racing; the recessed mainsheet traveler positioned in front of the steering wheels, along with the removable cockpit table, opens the foredeck to the crew and allows for a wider cockpit in potential sporting use.
The vacuum-laid teak deck is present on this boat on the benches, the bottom of the cockpit, the bathing platform, the coachroof, and the side walkways.
KEEL
The bulb is made of lead with antimony and a cast iron upper flange.
The boat is equipped with a hydraulic control system from the Navtec System C-50 series, a multifunction system for vang, backstay, and hydraulic adjustment of the base and related control unit.
The mast is a Sparcraft from the series dedicated to X-Yachts, with 3 anodized and white-painted spreaders.
Tapered boom at both ends.
Carbon boomkin.
Double steering with related instrumentation and Suunto 165 compasses.
Removable cockpit table made of fiberglass with a self-draining cooler.
Mooring cleats also at the center of the boat and six cable passers, half-boat opening gates;
Two fixed genoa cars that lead the genoa sheets to the primary electric winches.
Two adjustable genoa car stoppers under load.
Harken 74.2 winches, two electric
Harken 64.3 winches, two electric
Harken 44 winches, two
Lewmar electric windlass for anchor with related remote control
The goal of X-Yachts for this model was to build a boat with top-level interior finishes and details. All the furniture is made of teak, satin-painted, and hand-polished. The same wooden profile is maintained for the doors and cabinets, and all upholstery is in Frau leather. Portholes and windows are fitted with blinds. The flooring is teak with traditional stripes.
From the entrance, the quality is evident; the curved laminated teak staircase is beautiful and functional. The descent is comfortable, and access to the batteries and the front of the engine is easy.
Onboard comfort is enhanced by amenities such as air conditioning, heating, and video and audio systems.
LIVING AREA
Immediately after the chart table, there is an L-shaped sofa for 6 people with Frau leather upholstery, a large table with a storage compartment, and 3 comfortable removable chairs (which can be securely fixed in their positions), upper cabinets to hold glasses, bottles, books, and yacht documents. On the left side, there is a longitudinal sofa of 275 cm with Frau leather upholstery and upper storage cabinets.
CHART AREA
Technical area located to starboard near the entrance to have immediate access to all onboard utilities. It is characterized by the extreme space available for all navigation and communication equipment. Electrical panels are custom-made in the upper part of the chart table, which is also spacious enough to hold charts and navigation equipment.
GALLEY AREA
Located to the left of the entrance in a U-shape, it consists of a 3-burner stove with an oven protected by a stainless steel bar, a white countertop with two built-in stainless steel sinks, with a mixer for hot and cold fresh water and a mixer for seawater, a large 100 lt front-opening refrigerator, and many drawers and cabinets for galley equipment and food.
OWNER'S CABIN
Entering the spacious and bright cabin, to starboard is the double bed with a dedicated nightstand, 2 large drawers under the bed, and a chart plotter positioned on the bulkhead to keep navigation under control even during moments of relaxation. On the opposite side, there is a large double wardrobe (with shelves and for hanging clothes) and two comfortable armchairs with a table and spaces for bottles and glasses. The cabin is completed with a comfortable and fully equipped bathroom, electric toilet, and shower.
AFT CABINS
The two large aft cabins are symmetrical, each with a double bed, wardrobe, and cabinet with shelves.
The bathrooms, one for each cabin, are also complete with electric toilets and showers.
SAILS LOCKER/CREW CABIN
To starboard, immediately after the owner's cabin services, separated by a watertight bulkhead, is the space for storing sails and crew accommodations.
The bunks available for the potential crew are two, with a sink and a manual toilet.
The boat is equipped with a YANMAR 100 horsepower inboard Common Rail engine and is driven by a shaft line.
Always maintained (about 5000 hours) and in excellent condition for use.
The autonomy is ample thanks to two steel tanks, respectively 330 and 140 liters, and the fuel consumption is extremely low despite a cruising speed close to 6 knots.
The 3-blade adjustable propeller from Max Prop and a Maxpower bow thruster contribute to improving efficiency and ensure excellent maneuverability even in tight spaces and in port.
Volvo Penta shaft seal just replaced.

Niels Jeppesen about the X-562
"When we founded X-Yachts back in 1979 the main keys were to build fast yachts that were simple, and were for relatively limited budgets. When we decided to develop the 56 ft. X-562 we chose from the outset to make a yacht where the demand for high quality came before anything else. We felt strongly that X-562 owners should be very proud of their yachts, and so would become enthusiastic ambassadors for X-Yachts. How does she perform under sail and under engine - just as she should do, just as we expected. Just ask any owner of a model from the X-Yacht’s »Performance Cruising Range«. The X-562 does contain all the experience gained from the last 20 years, plus some great innovations that mark her as a unique yacht for the new millennium."
