FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:

With just one owner private since new and originally supplied through the Dutch Island Packet dealership, FREEDOM OF GALWAY is hull no.6 of the Bob Johnson designed centre-cockpit IP445, delivered and launched in 2005.

Having spent her first few seasons cruising around Baltic and Northern European waters, FREEDOM OF GALWAY headed south in 2009 towards Spanish and Portuguese waters where she has remained since.

Specified and equipped for long distance passage-making, FREEDOM OF GALWAY has seen light usage and has been ashore, professionally decommissioned for the past four seasons. Freshly serviced and with service batteries installed, FREEDOM OF GALWAY is ready for her next adventures with only minimal further recommissioning required.

MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS:

Our centre cockpit 445 is a beautifully spacious sailing vessel… perhaps the most spacious in her class. The deep centre cockpit provides more than just a comfortable place for your crew to congregate. It provides a safe working area from which you can perform all the necessary adjustments underway. Handholds and support rails are strategically placed to maximize your safety on deck.

As beautiful as the 445 is to behold, it’s even more appealing below decks. The expansive main saloon boasts more than seven feet of headroom, a well-appointed combination of hand crafted teak furnishings, cabinetry and storage, a nav station that would excite any world cruiser, a gourmet galley fit for a master chef and two of the most spacious staterooms you’ll find anywhere. There are three places to take a nice hot shower… two private heads (one adjacent to each stateroom) and one on the stern platform.
