PDQ Antares

Construction

The hull and deck are made of Isophthalic acid resin and tri-axial knitted fiberglass fabric. The exterior layer is 100% vinylester, while the interior layer is polyester. Corecell foam is used for coring above the waterline, except for hardware attachment points. All coring is vacuum-bagged to ensure complete adhesion. Below the waterline, the hulls are solid fiberglass. Two forward watertight compartments are inside each bow locker and four watertight bulkheads - two forward and two aft. The standard fin keels have a sacrificial section to sustain substantial damage without affecting hull integrity.

Saloon

The salon is open and inviting, featuring wood throughout and large panoramic windows.

Galley

The galley is on the port side, open to the salon, and accessed by two "household" steps. The back of one of the salon seats can be removed to allow the easy pass through of food and drinks between the galley and salon. The cabinetry is phenomenally crafted, and wood has been used throughout, making it light and airy.

Master Cabin
