Robertson and Caine with the Leopard 42 designed a boat that is an easy size for family long-range cruising.
Kokiri is owned by a Canadian couple who have enjoyed 18m of cruising in French Polynesia. The boat is Papeete tax paid so could continue in this mode if the new owner wanted.
They have added to the comfort and organization on board with a big refit investment including:
- Bringing the boat to a total of 860W of solar, with Victron MPPT controllers and a 3kW inverter and a Victron BMW-712 battery monitor
- Adding an aluminium structure to hold the solar panel additions
- This means the boat can now run the new 6kg washing machine
- New Genoa added Aug 2024, mainsail from 2017
- A new Autopilote Raymarine EV-400
- Improving the aesthetics with new taps in all 4 bathrooms
- Adding comfort items like a BBQ Magma Kettle 3
- Updating the outboard engine to a new Mercury 15Hp
- Fixing all the outstanding items from their purchase survey including anti-fouling August 2023, cutlass bearings for the engines changed
- All thru-hulls changed between 2023 and 2024
