PRIVILEGE 37 – 2000 – Owner Version – Based in Guadeloupe

This Privilège 37 catamaran, built in 2000, is an owner version, which means it was designed from the outset to offer more comfort, storage, and a significantly better living ergonomics on board compared to versions intended for rental. It has never been rented and has been carefully maintained by a passionate owner, keen on keeping the boat in excellent overall condition, both technically and aesthetically.

The Privilège 37 is a well-known model among multihull enthusiasts for its robust construction, reliability in offshore navigation, and comfort on board. Built with foam sandwich and polyester resin, this catamaran combines lightness and strength. Thanks to its wide hulls and a width of 6.60 meters, it offers excellent stability, even in rough seas, and allows for easy movement throughout the boat.

This particular model features a spacious and very bright central cabin, a true rare asset in this size of catamaran. It is designed to maximize onboard living comfort with an integrated television, making it a favored space to relax after sailing or during extended moorings. It is equipped with an original watermaker capable of producing 60 liters of water per hour, allowing for almost total autonomy in fresh water. The heating on board provides appreciated comfort during sailing in cooler seasons or in more temperate areas. A water filtration system, with a multi-filter tap and an independent filtered tap, ensures optimal water quality on board.

The kitchen is fully equipped: oven with grill, three gas burners, refrigerator, and drawer freezer, allowing for living on board without logistical constraints, even while sailing. This comfort is enhanced by a well-sized electrical installation, with four Victron AGM batteries of 130 Ah each, ensuring a good energy reserve for all onboard systems.

Regarding propulsion, the boat is equipped with two Volvo Diesel engines of 28 HP each, reliable and regularly maintained. The rigging has been revised in 2022, and the sails are in good condition for safe sailing. The mainsail would benefit from a revision, while the genoa was checked in 2024.

For anchoring maneuvers, the boat has an electric windlass and a 45 kg plow anchor with 80 meters of stainless steel chain, ensuring a secure anchorage, even in difficult bottoms.

The Privilège 37 is also well equipped for navigation and safety. It features a complete Raymarine electronics package, with GPS, autopilot, AIS, VHF, and six instrument repeaters distributed between the cockpit and the chart table. This configuration ensures comfortable, precise, and secure navigation, whether with a reduced crew or in coastal and offshore navigation.

The dinghy has not been neglected: a recent rigid inflatable dinghy (2023) with double hull aluminum bottom and a 9.9 HP outboard motor in good condition accompanies the boat. Ideal for outings, landings, or even fishing in the moorings.

Finally, the boat is registered in Guadeloupe, under French flag, with taxes and port dues paid, a significant advantage for a quick acquisition without complex customs formalities.
