The Hylas 46 boasts supreme access to the engine room from the galley, nav station, and a large hinged door built into the companion way. A Racor system makes it easy to change filters. A large manifold for the fuel system is accessible under the galley sole. The 64 HP Yanmar 4JH2-TE engine provides adequate, fuel-efficient power to the Max-Prop feathering propeller. An oil change pump with plumbing to the engine makes changing oil a simple process.
