Description

Designed for the serious offshore sailor, the Caliber 47LRC is a robust, long-range cruiser offering exceptional safety, comfort, and autonomy at sea. With its solid hand-laid fiberglass construction, watertight collision bulkhead, and skeg-hung rudder, this yacht is built to handle tough ocean conditions with confidence. Her impressive 277-gallon fuel capacity and 225-gallon water tank enable extended voyaging without reliance on frequent port stops—this boat can cross 1400 nautical miles on a single tank of fuel—and the efficient horizontal shaft drive and Smart Fuel System™ ensure reliable propulsion and fuel management. The gourmet galley make life aboard both elegant and practical. With abundant storage throughout, chain plates that are all easily accessible for inspection, and thoughtful features like the Convertible Cutter Rig™, the 47LRC is a true liveaboard-ready yacht designed to cross oceans in safety and style. This is the kind of boat that you can sail around the world on with ease. She has been well maintained by her owners and is comfortable with AC throughout and a new generator.

Gaujira has been well cared for by her owners who have cruised and lived aboard for many years, now they have decided to sell the boat so they can focus on building their house.

Additional Information

Accommodation

Two private staterooms each feature an ensuite head with a separate enclosed shower stall, Plexiglas doors, and built-in shower seating. The forward shower has been converted to a shelved storage area but can easily be returned to full service. The aft master cabin offers a queen-size island berth, dual cedar-lined hanging lockers, two dressers, and multiple overhead hatches and ports that provide excellent light and ventilation. The forward Pullman-style berth includes extensive storage with drawers beneath, lockers above and below the vanity, and additional shelving throughout.

Each head is designed with a spacious WC and basin area, generous locker storage, and premium marine plumbing using solid PVC piping to minimize odors. The aft head also serves as a ventilated walk-in wet locker, ideal for foul weather gear and boots, with a quick and easy conversion back to shower use. The main salon features a fold-away bulkhead-mounted teak dining table with an integrated wine and magazine rack, while the galley is designed for liveaboard comfort and gourmet cooking with a 10-foot-long countertop and dual aft passageways to prevent foot traffic interference with the cook.

The galley is equipped with a three-burner LPG stove with oven, built-in microwave, dual refrigeration including a 4.3 cu. ft. dual-loading refrigerator and a 3.5 cu. ft. top-loading freezer with heavy insulation, plus a large double sink and extensive locker and drawer storage throughout. High-efficiency insulation and premium two-part foam fill maximize cooling performance. A handcrafted teak interior with solid joinery, teak-and-holly sole, and soft headliner adds warmth and elegance, complemented by 26 opening ports, hatches, and deck cowls for excellent cross-ventilation throughout all cabins. A dedicated forward-facing navigation station includes a chart table, storage, and electronics mounting panels, and a dedicated engine room—separate from the living quarters—provides improved noise isolation and additional interior storage.
