CONSTRUCTION

RCD Status:
•    Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) as she was first placed into use prior to 16th June 1998.

Hull Construction:
•    Hull laminated from male mould
•    E-glass Kevlar impregnated under vacuum in epoxy matrix
•    Solid lamination on selected points
•    Structural bulkheads advanced composite materials vacuum packed in epoxy matrix
•    Carbon fibre chainplates for the new mast - 2005
•    The floor structure is composed of longitudinal reinforcements with primary transverse reinforcements
•    Sacrificial foam PVC crash section in the bow
•    Awlgrip painted hull with finish Topcoat blue paint with white style lines - 2025

Deck & Superstructure Construction:
•    E-glass aramid impregnated under vacuum in epoxy matrix
•    White painted deck with antiskid - 2025

Keel & Rudder:
•    L shape keel with stainless steel structure
•    Lead bulb with 2% antimony
•    Carbon fibre rudder stock 

MACHINERY

Engine & gearbox:
•    Yanmar 4LHA-HTP, 3.455 litres, four cylinders, direct injection, turbo intercooled, diesel engine producing 160hp @ 3,300RPM – 2012
•    Fresh water engine cooling via raw water intake and heat exchanger
•    Wet discharge exhaust
•    Gearbox ZF45 A shaft-drive gearbox with 2:43:1 reduction
•    Mechanical stuffing box
•    Engine control: engine RPM, cooling water temperature, oil pressure, engine hours

Service & Maintenance:
•    Engine hours – approx. 4,900. as of end of 2024
•    Date of last engine service – summer 2024 (eater exchanger, intercooler, new pumps, new belts)

Propulsion & Steering:

ELECTRIAL SYSTEMS

PLUMBING & GAS SYSTEMS

Fresh Water:
•    The hot freshwater circuit is led into a well-insulated hot water tank, heated by engine or 220v AC immersion heater element 
•    24vDC fresh water pump in the aft head compartment.

Watermaker:
•    Hydro Eletricque Marine (HEM) approx. 200litres/hour watermaker 
•    Serviced - 2023

Bilge Pumps:
•    4x suction points (bow, dinette, engine room, lazarette) with 1x Gianneschi & Ramacciotti CP32A bilge pump.
•    Manual bilge pump can be activated from the cockpit.

Seacocks:
•    Seacocks – replaced 2023

TANKAGE

Fuel:
•    Approx. 1,800 litres fuel in 2x 330 litres and 2x 550 litres fuel stainless steel tanks
•    Each tank has a Racor fuel filter
