The 2-cabin Swan 46 offers a blend of comfort and practicality, ideal for both cruising and extended voyages. The accommodations typically include:

• Aft Cabin: This spacious cabin features a centerline double bed, providing a comfortable sleeping area. It also includes an en-suite head compartment for privacy and convenience.

• Forward Cabin: The forward cabin has two upholstered pipe berths, offering cozy sleeping arrangements. It has a separate head compartment, ensuring guests' accessibility.

• Salon: The main salon includes settee berths and a pilot berth, creating a versatile space for relaxation and additional sleeping options.

• Galley: Located to port of the companionway, the galley is well-equipped for meal preparation during voyages.

• Navigation Station: Opposite the galley, the navigation station provides a functional workspace for planning and monitoring routes.

The interior is beautifully finished with satin-varnished teak and a teak-and-holly cabin sole, showcasing Nautor Swan's renowned craftsmanship.

 

Galley

The galley of the Swan 46 MKII is thoughtfully designed for functionality and comfort during extended voyages. It is located on the port side, just forward of the companionway ladder, and features a straight configuration. The galley is equipped with:

• Corian counter top (white) with eye level fridge.
• Top loaded freezer with lift out wire basket.
• Double stainless steel sink.
• 3-burner Alpes inox stove with grill and oven.
• Microwave 
• Ample stowage.
• New Isotherm Refrigeration and Freezer Units (2024)

Heads

The Swan 46 typically features two heads (bathrooms) onboard, designed for functionality and comfort during extended voyages. These heads are well-appointed with marine toilets, sinks, and shower facilities. The layout often includes one head accessible from the owner's cabin and another for the guest cabins, ensuring privacy and convenience for all aboard. The design reflects Nautor's Swan's commitment to blending practicality with luxury, making life at sea as comfortable as possible.

Note: The aft Head is currently inoperative due to a frozen thru hull valve.

Construction

The Swan 46 is a finely crafted sailboat, built predominantly of fiberglass with wood trim, ensuring durability and elegance. It features a monohull design with a masthead sloop rig, a raked stem, and a reverse transom. The keel is a fixed fin keel with a weighted bulb .

The boat is equipped with a spade-type rudder controlled by a wheel, providing precise maneuverability. It carries lead ballast for stability and has a draft of 8.20 ft with the fin keel. The Swan 46 is powered by a Perkins diesel engine, ensuring reliable docking and maneuvering.
