MANUFACTURER PROVIDED DESCRIPTION
The Irwin 43 MKIII surrounds its passengers with luxury. The main salon is elegantly appointed with a liquor locker, two large settees, and a custom teak dining table. Large ports create an open, well-ventilated atmosphere. An expansive master stateroom delivers the comfort of a queen-sized berth, and features a vanity with an upholstered swivels stool, and a private head with a shower stall. The forward guest stateroom has a V-berth with filler cushion, a convenient dressing settee, and private access to the day head with shower stall. Superior space planning has provided a galley perfect for gourmet cooking. The tasteful use of richly varnished teak combined with coordinated mica colors provides a feeling of warmth and spaciousness. With distinctive styling and a high-performance winged keel, the sloop-rigged Irwin 43 moves easily in light air and handles crisply in a blow.
Accommodations
Irwin designed the interior of the Mark III with an eye toward making it as light and airy as possible. The salon boasts panoramic windows that continue around the front of the coachroof, permitting light to flood the interior. Additional opening ports and six opening hatches throughout the interior space provide for superb ventilation. The main salon is set up with an L-shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard, either one of which can also be used as extra sleeping berths. The forward cabin has a V berth when the filler cushion is used, as well as a private entrance into the forward day head with a separate shower stall. DHARMA has an aft-facing navigation station located to port of the companionway. Two sea berths are located in the port side walk-through beside the engine room. A large U-shaped galley is just aft of the main salon to starboard. The aft owner’s stateroom affords standing headroom and a centerline queen master berth. It also has its own private head compartment with separate shower, and a vanity with a swing-out stool.
