Description
The CS 30, designed by Tony Castro and built by CS Yachts in Canada from 1984 to 1990, is a standout vessel in the 30-foot sailboat category. It offers a unique combination of performance, comfort, and build quality that has kept it relevant and respected decades after production ceased.
A true cruiser-racer, the CS 30 is equally at home on weekend cruises as it is competing in club regattas.
The vessel is located in Montague, PEI and has been well maintained and serviced and shows in very good condition.
Construction
Solid handlaid fiberglass hull with white gelcoat and blue vinyl trim. The deck and cockpit are a balsa cored fiberglass with white gelcoat and molded non-skid. Fin cast iron keel with balanced spade rudder and wheel steering.
Accommodations
The vessel is equipped with full cruising accommodations and has berths for seven persons. The companionway is located on centerline with a large double quarter berth to starboard with an integrated navigation station. To port is a fully equipped galley with top load icebox, two burner propane stove with oven and a stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water. The main cabin contains a settee to port and an L shaped settee / dinette to starboard with bulkhead mounted drop down table (berth converts to a double). Forward the main bulkhead you will find a fully equipped head with manual flush toilet, pressurized hot and cold water and shower wand. The forepeak contains a double v-berth.
All upholstery and cabinetry are in very good conditions.
