"Aldebaran" is a well-kept example of the respected CS 30, a Canadian-built sailboat known for its solid construction, comfortable cruising layout, and responsive sailing performance. Equipped with the desirable shoal draft keel (4’3”), she is particularly well suited to exploring the shallow waters of Georgian Bay and the North Channel.
The boat has had just three owners since new. Recent upgrades include new port windows, hatch lenses, full cockpit enclosure, solar panels, a lithium battery system, and dinghy davits, allowing for comfortable cruising.
Below, the interior is clean and inviting with teak and holly flooring and upgraded upholstery. The layout sleeps 4–6 with a forward V-berth, convertible dinette, and aft double berth. The galley is equipped with a stainless sink, refrigeration, and a 2-burner gimballed stove.
Maintenance has been kept up, including fall service in 2024, impeller replacement, and mast stepping and inspection in 2024. The Volvo 18HP diesel shows approximately 2,500 hours, with less than 10 hours on the most recent oil change.
