Fastest Beneteau First 29 in the world. Lake Lanier PHRF lowered from 171 to 144 after mast 5.5’ extension, boom upgrade, rudder upgrade. (Added 5.5' to the mast, increase the boom length by .6', and add 22% to the rudder. It made the boat faster and well balanced. It generally steers using three fingers. with 12 kts of wind or less.)
