A true globetrotter, the three roller-furled headsails and roller-furled mainsail combine with Everything Else to provide an exceptionally capable cruising yacht!  Sixty of the impressive Slocum 43 were built to the design of Stan Huntingford, who also designed the very similar Passport 42 of which fifty were made. 

YOU get the benefit of a very recent and extensive refit project, and the boat has been unused since.  Owner's poor health motivates the price chosen to motivate YOU.  A live video tour is available to authentically interested buyers = you see whatever you like before coming for formal inspections and purchase!

6. Anchor Windlass motor rebuilt

Interior:
1. New Force 10 stove/oven

4. Removed all 8 chainplates, inspected, cleaned and rebedded

6. Rebuilt Perkins 4.108 - no hours
7. Six new Trojan 100 amp batteries
8. New 16,000 btu Dometic air conditioner, (a 2nd onboard a/c unit) 
9. New Silentwind 400 watt wind generator (to replace the Ampair wind generator)

The solid teak rubrail, caprail, hatch-boards, interior trim, etc., are notably thicker than usual, an aspect often only found from high-quality builders.  Beyond the large and comfortable cockpit, all-weather confidence is inspired by the fiberglass bimini & dodger, beefy granny-bars when at the mast, wide side-decks, raised bulwarks, and impressive double-course stainless safety railings fore-to-aft!

This truly beautiful Slocum 43 is already conveniently located in one of the finest cruising areas possible: the pristine Western Caribbean!  Regularly stored in the beautiful Rio Dulce of Guatemala for hurricane season, same-day cruising from the Rio can have you snorkeling or diving the world’s 2nd largest barrier reef – Belize it!  Or, it’s just an overnighter away to experience the Bay Islands of Honduras (Utila, Roatan, Guanaja).  Farther voyages can have you enjoying Mexico, Jamaica, Caymans, and Panama before returning to the Rio sanctuary year after year, as countless cruisers do.  Great Yacht, Great Location… it’s time to have fun!!
