The Amel Sharki has all the attributes of the AMEL brand and is renowned as a compact, sturdy, seaworthy and seakindly vessel which will take her crew wherever they choose. Reve de Lune has ALL the standard appointments as would have left the Amel factory in 1980, but is unique in that she is the only Sharki with an integrated sugar scoop (which extends her lines and adds 2ft to her length).  She also has twin furling headsails which are an upgrade to the original design for this year.

The current owner did a FULL refurbishment of Reve de Lune after purchase and he states the following: ‘I have tried to be true to Henri Amel’s vision for this vessel, I have not made any changes that detract from what is tried and tested, but have brought Reve de Lune into the 21st century by making valuable additions.
