Description
A recent mechanical inspection confirmed that this vessel has been repowered with a Yanmar 2GM20F and with a new fresh water pump, new gasket and seals on the gear case and the fuel injectors serviced, this boat is ready to go!
Designed by Bob Perry, the Mirage 33 is well known for sporty and comfortable sailing with many of them being raced locally. The spacious and bright interior on "Getaway" shows in "as new" condition with new ports, 2 opening overhead hatches and newer upholstery. The large v-berth has a door for privacy, the head is fully enclosed and the comfortable dinette with ample seating converts to another double bunk in addition to the 2 single berths also offered. The galley is nicely appointed with a large fridge, 2-burner propane stove and oven, pressurized hot and cold water and lots of storage space.
Topsides the eye-catching design of the wide flat decks and large cockpit with wheel steering, auto-helm and electric windlass are perfect for sailing either single-handed or fully crewed. Best of all, Getaway comes with a FULL COCKPIT ENCLOSURE and Espar forced air heating to extend the cruising season well past the peak summer months.
