Built in 1981. GRP construction with cream topsides and superstructure, catamaran, twin rudders, aft cockpit, wheel steering, 5 berths.

SAILS and RIG:

Slab reefing mainsail with mainsail cover.  Headsail furling system with furling genoa.  Spinnaker.  Masthead rigged sloop.  Anodised aluminium mast and boom.  Stainless steel standing rigging (renewed 2018).

ENGINE:

Yanmar 2YM15 twin cylinder 15hp inboard diesel engine (2005) with Sillette Sonic drive leg which can be raised and lowered.  Approx 55 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Cruising speed under engine is 5 to 6 knots. Engine serial number 00234.  Engine serviced annually by owner.

ELECTRICS:

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries.  Recent switch panel & re-wire.

DECK GEAR:

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, wheel steering, 2 self tailing sheet winches, 3D inflatable dinghy (2020), CQR anchor with stainless chain, manual anchor windlass, mooring warps and fenders.

NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:

Plastimo compass, Clipper depth, windex at masthead, Lowrance VHF radio, navigation lights and steaming light.

SAFETY GEAR:

2 Crewsaver auto inflate lifejackets, manual bilge pump.

DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:

Her galley has a two burner gas cooker with grill.  Sink/drainer with manually pumped water supply.  200 litre freshwater capacity in two tanks.  Coolbox.

ACCOMMODATION:

The accommodation offers up to five berths.  In the starboard hull, separate heads compartment forward with marine toilet and washbasin.  Chart table amidships.  Cabin aft with single berth.  In saloon, double berth forward.  Two settees with saloon table.  In starboard hull, single berths fore and aft with galley amidships.

REMARKS:

"Thetis" was purchased by her present owner in 2018, a professional survey was carried out at the time.  She has been based in a mud berth at Tollesbury Saltings and cruised locally on the river Blackwater and beyond.
