Description

This boat is NOW an incredible value and at what some would consider a steal at this reduced price, get on it soon with an offer or she will be gone!!!

A Pearson 40 is generally considered a well rounded, versatile sailboat praised for its spacious flush deck, deep cockpit, excellent visibility, and high-quality interior finish, making it suitable for both cruising and racing, with many owners highlighting its comfort and ability to handle a variety of sailing conditions.

The seller purchased this boat in Texas in 2019, did a refit to the boat in 2020 (noted in full/ additional specs) brought it across the gulf and sailed around a bit. While in Clearwater the seller got into an accident, he put the boat in storage (where it has been for 1-1/2 years) The seller probably should have put the boat on the market sooner, but he did not want to give up on his dream, and he wanted to go back out on the water. he has come to the conclusion this will not happen, and he knows he must sell the boat.

I have authority to not only right up any reasonable offers, but those that may not be considered reasonable... So make me an offer, lets get it done.

BROKERS WALK THRU

This is overall a nice boat that can be bought right. The current owner purchased the boat in Texas in 2019, he refits it and enjoyed the boat for a little over two years. An unforeseen accident made it impossible for him to sail. He did not want to give up, this was his dream.

That accident was a year and a half ago, he has come to the conclusion his dram has ended, and he must sell the boat. It has been stored on the hard for 1-1/2 years. The exterior is going to need some cleaning up and it needs new bottom paint. The fiberglass itself is sound and very solid underfoot to walk around.

The interior is gorgeous, i was actually shocked how nice it was going inside this boat after sitting though last year's rain season. Dry as a bone and no mildew smells, no evidence of any leaking anywhere.

So, clean up and a good shaking down of the engine. All she should need. get us a descent offer, get yourself a boat.

GENERATOR AND AIR CONDITIONER: When the seller bought this boat it had a broken generator and working air conditioner. He removed the generator because it did not work. His long term plans a few years ago was to sail El Caribe and all the islands. So the thought of a water maker made more sense than having the air conditioner. So he pulled that out and installed a brand new water maker. Both these items are in storage and the new owner can have them if they want them. To reiterate.. The generator was pulled and was not working (at the time) the air conditioner was pulled and was working at the time.
