Description

The Westsail 32 is and has always been the boat that started the cruising phenominum. It has done more for cruising than any other boat. So, if you dream of sailing off into the horizon, you can do as so many others have before you. Why not go. Go now, go small, go simple!

The 800 plus Westsails are overbuilt for strength, comfort, and security! With her traditional full keel design and skeg-hung rudder on a massive rudder post and overall toughness, you can't do better in this price range. "Sea Glass" has most recently traveled throughout the Caribbean and up the coast to New York, unfortunately her owner has passed away making her available to her next adventurer.

She is roomy, repowered with a 35 horsepower Beta engine, 3 blade prop, has several sail combinations, ProFurl roller furler, Aries windvane, 2 CQR anchors, coal or wood stove for those chilly evenings, multiple solar panels, 2200 watt inverter and tons of storage space

If you are looking to cruise the world or simply Long Island Sound there is no better value in a safe, reliable, well designed sailboat

Accommodations

AccommodationsThis is a classic big boat for 32 feet. She is actually large and comfortable for a cruising couple. This basic interior arrangement has been copied by every great sailing boat from the Crealock 37, Valiant 40, and Tayana 37...it just works! This is a proven layout for offshore cruising. The Westsail 32 has a workable galley just down the companionway to port. Forward in the salon, there is a huge U - shaped dinette for entertaining with a straight settee to starboard. She has a nice separate nav station just to starboard at the companionway with all your nav equipment. Up forward, there is the head just forward of the mast and mid ship(always nice)with loads of storage cabinets and drawers on the starboard and the sink and cabinets outboard to port. The forward cabin is very nice with a pullman to port that is naturally a small double with an insert for a big queen berth. There is plenty of stowage everywhere. The main salon also makes a nice double to port and a settee berth to starboard. You don't lack for great sea berths. She's a real boat.
