Description
Pearson was one of the early successful builders of production fiberglass yachts. The jury was still out on the endurance of fiberglass in the early 70s when other builders like Hinkley and Chris Craft were still building out of wood, so these boats were "overbuilt", hence the reason there are so many of these classic Pearson's still serving their owners and performing like the day they were launched.
A pure line of elegance with a clear deck plan and its simple interior makes this Pearson a pleasant sailboat to navigate and live on. Canadian sailboat with tax not paid and visible on Lake Champlain
The boat was purchased new by the father-in-law in 1977. It sailed in the Atlantic for 5 weeks in 1985 for a cruise to Virginia. The rest of the time it sailed on Lake Champlain and was repurchased in 2015 by the current owners.
