Description
Dependable and fast makes for a good value in a cruiser, this 1972 example of a Ericson 39, is a serious racer-cruiser, with a flush deck and a lovely finished mahogany interior, this example has been well maintainned by her current owner whom have had her for close to 20 years.
Standout features include a new Volvo Penta D2-40F engine that was fitted in 2015 along with new a bow thruster, black water tank and an "Aeries" self steering windvane.
Layout wise inside you'll find a galley close at hand to starboard. There are two sinks facing forward, a three-burner stove and a large electric fridge. There's good counter space and storage both in drawers and bins behind the stove.
Opposite the galley is a settee berth and quarterberth that stretches under the aft-facing chart table. The saloon includes facing settees with a centerline table between. There is good storage above and outboard the settees and behind them. The V-berth is very good in size, there is a big hanging locker to starboard, opposite the head, and access to the chain locker is at the head of the berth.

50 meters of 8 mm chain with a CQR anchor
20 meters of additional chain with a "fisherman" anchor + 2 folding anchors suitable for a dingy.
A bowthruster has been fitted
A Black water holding tank has been fitted, located under the forward V-Berth, made of plastic with a 40L capacity.
Boom has been replaced, sails include: A No.3 Genoa, an overlapping 130% genoa and a Yankee Storm Jib. A new lazy bag has also been fitted in 2024.
Electrical system:
4 batteries total (One engine, two house/domestic and one for the bowthruster).
