Built in 1972.  GRP construction with white topsides and superstructure, long fin keel, aft cockpit with tiller steering, bermudan sloop rig and 5 berth interior layout.

ENGINE:

Beta BD1005 28hp inboard diesel engine (2005 - Serial No 4Q9230) with around 360 engine hours at listing.  Shaft drive to 3 blade bronze propeller. 17 gallon fuel tank.  Cruising speed under engine around 5 knots.

Vetus 55kgf bowthruster (2021) with control at helm.

ELECTRICS:

Alternator charging to 2 x 12v batteries (120 Amp/hr and 60 Amp/hr).  240v shore power.  LED lighting.

DECK GEAR:

Stainless steel pushpit pulpit and guardwires, custom GRP fixed spray screen, tiller, Lewmar 40 self tailing sheet winches, Lewmar 16 halyard winches, 15kg Bruce anchor with 30m of 8mm chain, Bruce 10kg kedge anchor with nylon warp, SL Seawolf 520 electric anchor windlass, 2 boathooks, brush, 4 mooring warps and 10 fenders.

NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT:

Plastimo Contest 130 compass, Plastimo hand-held compass, Garmin EchoMap 95 plotter with depth, Navman 7200 DSC VHF radio, windex at masthead, Aries windvane self steering gear, Autohelm ST2000 tillerpilot, Garmin 120 GPS, NASA AIS, folding radar reflector, Plastimo bras clock and barometer, Icom hand held VHF radio, Aquasignal navigation lights including tri-colour masthead light and anchor light.  Steaming light.

DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:

Refleks 66M bulkhead mounted diesel heater. Her galley has an Origo spirit cooker, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, pressure water supply from 55 gallon fixed water tank.  Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet.  Curtains.

ACCOMMODATION:

5 berths.

REMARKS:

Since purchasing "Sprayling II" in 2000 , she has given her owner so much enjoyment and satisfaction.  He has found her to be an excellent passage maker, reeling off the miles with little demand on the crew. Her owner has not sailed her beyond UK and coastal EU waters, although she would be very suited to more extended voyages.  

Her owner has changed most items on the boat over his 25 years and described her as being "as good as a 50 year old yacht can be".  She is now "ready to go" for her next adventure.
