The Sea Fox 268 Commander is an entry-level fisherman with attractive lines and an impressive inventory of features. A wide 9'3" beam makes the commander one of the roomiest 26-foot center council boats available in recent years. With a sharp entry and 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom, the Seafox delivers a comfortable ride in a variety of sea conditions. For anglers, an aerated 55-gallon transom livewell, console tackle center, two fish boxes, and gunwale rod holders are standard. The leaning post/helm seat has flip-up bolsters above a slide-out cooler. At the transom, twin folding jump seats and a folding bench provide seating for guests. Forward, the console seat pairs with twin aft-facing bow loungers for entertaining and cruising. Popular options include a deluxe hardtop package, bow table, additional live well, and power assist steering. The 268 has a composite-core deck and hull, both finished with isothalic gelcoat and vinylester skin coat for durability. A lot of boat for the money, twin Yamaha F150 outboards reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 45 Knots.
