The bow and cockpit of the R8 are larger fore to aft, and the head area is larger in both length and width. There’s plenty of room for passengers, their belongings and water sports gear. The Surf boat from Cobalt features the Cobalt Surf System (CSS) that delivers the world-class tournament-style waves the surf pros demand. The CSS includes 6 hard ballast tanks that can have as much as 2300 pounds of ballast, a specifically-designed surf hull, the Volvo forward drive engine and the best-in-class Surf Gate™ technology that shapes the perfect wave.
