This Fjord 40 Open, Luna, with clean hull lines from bow to stern, takes luxury day cruising and weekend escapes to another level. Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS600 diesel engines of 435 hp each, Luna offers exhilarating performance, while the IPS drives and Volvo Penta joystick control ensure effortless handling and precise manoeuvring at all speeds. She comes very well equipped with a generator, numerous covers, recessed stainless steel deck fittings, and Garmin electronics including radar. Life on board a Fjord 40 Open happens mainly on deck. She has an excellent designed layout with four distinct outdoor zones. The fore deck with large sun pads. The helm station with three foldable leather helm chairs, a frameless windshield, and T-shaped hardtop with tinted acrylic panels. The generous bathing platform with concealed swimming ladder for easy access to the water. And finally, the spacious cockpit with twin high-low tables and a two facing settees. The seatbacks are reversible, so both settees can face either forward or aft. And with the table lowered, the complete dining area converts to a huge sunbed.
