Description
2011 Leopard 47PC "Shearwater"
4/4 version, not chartered,
upgraded 260HP Volvo engines, 1,450 hrs
Brokers remarks: Originally sold by Leopard in Fort Lauderdale as a family boat to, "Shearwater" has been privately owned since new and has relatively low hours on engines / generator (coincidentally, all systems have around 1,450 hrs as of January 2026. Almost all 4 cabin models of the Leopard 47PC were charter boats from the Moorings (with smaller Cummins or John Deere engines). "Shearwater" has the upgraded Volvo 260HP, which can propel the boat over 20 knots. And "Shearwater" has never been chartered.
"Shearwater" is located in Freeport, an easy 20 minute flight from south FL.
Equipped with 9kW northern light generator, custom mattresses in all cabins (2024), 3 x new air conditioning units in 2023, engines and generator recently serviced and in good running condition, new Isinglass in 2023, bottom painted in 2025. Watermaker, Garmin display, custom mattresses. Lots of bang for your buck. Please check out the tab "Additional Specifications" for all details.
BUILDERS REMARKS: This breed of power catamaran was designed by the famous naval architects Morrelli and Melvin. What other power boat offers four double state rooms with ensuite heads and stall showers, in addition to the best fuel economy and range currently on the market. Ideal for the Bahamas, ICW cruising and off-shore sport fishing.
