Sea Ray designers created a uniquely American blend of sweeping lines and graceful accents in the 290 Sundancer, and the chances are good that this boat will retain her rakish good looks well into the future. Built on a deep-V hull with moderate beam and tall freeboard forward, the Sundancer’s accommodations are at once practical and luxurious. Her expansive cockpit—less crowded than most, but with less seating as well—includes a wet bar with Corian counter, a stainless steel sink, drink holders and a designated space for the carry-on cooler. A transom shower and transom storage locker were standard, and a forward-facing radar arch was a popular option.
