VESSEL IN PERFECT CONDITION, ALWAYS MAINTAINED BY A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY
ALL MAINTENANCE PERFORMED
Menorquin offers us a high-seas cruise with the features and comfort of large boats, without giving up the classic and timeless style that distinguishes the shipyard. Built using advanced manufacturing techniques, the MY 160 is a symbol of safe, stable, and calm navigation. Its semi-displacement hull allows for very comfortable cruising in displacement mode and a semi-planing speed of around 20 knots with great stability and safety. All of this makes the Menorquin Yacht 160 an ideal vessel for long cruises. At a cruising speed of 13 or 14 knots, we can trace a circle of no less than 540 nautical miles around us. The entire Mediterranean is within our reach, and this is the true "character" of the Menorquin 160!.
On a first tour of the boat, we perceive a sense of comfort that invites us to stay and enjoy every detail. The Menorquin Yacht 160 shares the characteristics typical of Menorquin vessels, adapted to its dimensions: very spacious interiors -both the areas intended for rest, as well as the kitchen and bathrooms-, wide deck corridors, a large sunbathing area at the bow for those who enjoy soaking up the sun, a generous cockpit with space for a table for up to six people and a functional bathing platform lined with Burmese teak.
In this model, the use of noble materials –teak and iroko woods– and the highest quality finishes also play a special role and are appreciated at first glance, enhancing its traditional and seafaring spirit.
Menorquin Yacht 160: The different layout options
With a maximum capacity of up to 8 overnight places, the MY 160 stands out for its exceptional versatility that allows for different layout adaptations.
The Menorquin Yacht 160, in its Standard version, has 3 cabins. At the bow, we find the owner's cabin, with a very careful aesthetic, featuring a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with an independent shower. At the stern, there are 2 guest cabins, both on the port side, one of which has two single beds that can be joined to form a double bed; and the second has bunk beds. All cabins are equipped with reading lights and wardrobes. The guest bathroom is located on the starboard side and, like the owner's, has an independent shower and all the necessary accessories to facilitate the organization of personal hygiene items.
The dinette of the Menorquin Yacht 160, located on the starboard side next to the kitchen, features a corner sofa that can comfortably seat four people, a table with a fixed leg that serves as a practical wine rack, a cupboard, and several shelves that enhance the decor while expanding the storage space.
The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a three-burner ceramic hob; the lower furniture consists of four drawers with good capacity, two-door cabinets, shelves for glasses, tableware, and other utensils. From the kitchen, access to the helm is via a staircase.
Another characteristic that defines the personality of this yacht is the versatility that allows for different layout optionsTo do this, we can adjust the navigation parameters and understand how the boat behaves with the current state of the sea. We are shown information about oil pressure, water temperature, voltage supplied by the generators, oil pressure in the reduction gear, and various warnings as well as possible alarms.according to the preferences and needs of the owner. Thus, there is the possibility of adding a crew cabin at the bow with independent access. It is also possible to eliminate the port guest cabin (two bunks) and instead place another cabin in the dinette with a double bed.
Helm of the Menorquin 160
The double captain's seat, which incorporates a second refrigerator underneath as a complement to the one in the kitchen, is very comfortable and offers perfect visibility in any direction towards the outside. A tilting footrest has been provided to rest the legs and pilot with complete peace of mind. The generous helm features a multifunction navigation screen in the center, a VHF radio, and the switch panel that allows control of the boat's electrical system. Above are all the gauges from which we control the dual engine MY 160.
