Holterman 53

We present to you this Holterman 53, an all-steel motor yacht from 2006, built by Holterman Shipyard BV and designed by Vripack Yacht Design BV. A solid, classic yacht with a round-bilged hull and CE-A certification, designed for comfortable and safe cruising under various conditions.

The vessel sits solidly in the water and offers smooth, stable handling thanks to its robust steel hull and superstructure. Propulsion is provided by a 420 hp Caterpillar C7DI six-cylinder diesel engine, coupled to a V-drive with a water-lubricated 50 mm propeller shaft and a 5-blade stainless steel propeller. Maneuvering is easy and precise with the hydraulically proportional Vetus bow and stern thrusters, controlled via joystick from the helm station or the Hydronautica RMC remote control.

For onboard comfort, considerable attention has been paid to the interior and amenities. The warm cherry wood interior with beige upholstery creates a classic and refined look. The wheelhouse houses the bright saloon with a panoramic view and an electric sliding roof, while the galley with a spacious seating area is located amidships below. The owner's cabin is located aft, featuring a freestanding double bed and a private bathroom with a Tecma toilet and a separate shower with a glass door. Forward, the guest cabin has a V-berth and private sanitary facilities, with separate toilet and shower. Both bathrooms have towel radiators for added comfort.

The galley is fully equipped with high-quality Miele and Liebherr appliances, including a 4-burner Schott Ceran cooktop, a combination oven with microwave and grill, a 233-liter refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The saloon features a Liebherr wine cooler. Hot water and heating are provided by a Kabola B12T heater, which distributes heat throughout the ship via radiators. For cooling, a Webasto air conditioning system (20,000 BTU) provides cool air throughout the ship. A water filtration system ensures clean drinking water.

Outside, the deck, gangways, cockpit, and swim platform are fully covered in teak. The cockpit features beige leather cushions and a teak table with a varnished edge. The swim platform is accessible via spiral stairs and has a fold-out stainless steel ladder. The boat is equipped with an electric Quick anchor winch and an integrated stainless steel stern anchor. A stainless steel railing with sliding openings runs all around for easy access.

The Holterman 53 is equipped with a complete electrical system and recently installed batteries: two Optima RedTop starter batteries (2024) for the engine, eight Mastervolt Gel service batteries 12V/200Ah (2026), and a separate Optima RedTop starter battery (2024) for the Mastervolt Whisper 12 Ultra generator (12 kW). Charging and invertering are handled by Mastervolt Ultra Mass Combi units, making the vessel fully operational independently.

For navigation and safety, the ship is equipped with Simrad equipment (autopilot, chartplotter, log/depth), a VHF radio, searchlight, and emergency steering. Vetus Roll Damping stabilizers ensure stability in choppy waters or longer voyages, significantly reducing the ship's rolling motion and ensuring a comfortable onboard experience. Three electric bilge pumps and an automatic fire extinguishing system in the engine room complete the package.
