We are selling our trusted, reliable 22 foot 2005 Scout Abaco featuring a cuddy cabin and a very economical Yamaha 225 outboard 4 stroke for an asking price of $31,500. Also included a 2024 Rocket Marine First Load aluminum trailer. This was our first boat and the proven Scout performance with the acclaimed V hull craftsmanship did not disappoint. Very solid feeling in the water, yet quick, agile handling, top speed of up to 46 knots (53 mph) and fuel efficiency of ~ 3 miles per gallon when cruising in the upper 20s to 30 mph. The last 100 hour service was completed January 14, 2026 by Bill’s Mobile Marine and the steering has a new Teleflex ‘Seastar’ hydraulic steering February 26.
Our Scout has been well cared for and loaded with upgrades. We kept our boat on a covered lift. The cockpit seating has been updated and reconfigured to provide a more comfortable seating arrangement. This Scout Abaco 222 is designed for the avid fisherman and features an aerated baitwell, sink, six rod holders, and tackle storage. Below deck, the cabin sports a well-ventilated comfortable V-berth. We are including a portable rechargeable fan. The cabin has a convenient domestic portable head.
The boat is light weight and trailers easily on the included 2024 Rocket Marine First Load aluminum trailer with GVWR 7000# - Trailer Wt. 1000# and Load Capacity 6000#, 205/75/R14 radial tires mounted on upgraded Aluminum Mag Wheels with a Spare Tire on a galvanized mount. The trailer includes torsion axles, stainless steel hardware, extra heavy duty solid hard wood bunks, aluminum fenders, front keel guides, winch, jack, led lights, reflective striping, and guide poles with secondary elevated LED pipe brake and turn signal lights. A complete coverage Scout boat cover with engine cover is included to protect the boat when stored. Wheel and tire covers are included with the trailer.
