Meet “Sea-J,” a well-equipped 2004 Bayliner 285 that’s ready for cruising, fishing, and comfortable weekends on the water.

Powered by a freshwater-cooled MerCruiser 350 MAG MPI paired to a Bravo III dual-prop drive, delivering strong performance and excellent maneuverability around the dock.

Step into the cockpit and you’ll find snap-in carpeting and a full camper canvas enclosure with clear vinyl windows in good condition, helping to extend the boating season. There’s also a freshwater shower at the transom for rinsing off after a swim. For fishing, the cockpit is set up with Scotty downrigger mounts with power points plus additional Scotty mounts for other gear.

At the helm you’ll find an ICOM IC-M330 VHF, a Raymarine radar, stereo remote control, trim tab controls, spotlight control, and cabin heater control—everything within easy reach.

Down below, the cabin is comfortable and surprisingly spacious for a 28-footer. The galley includes a stainless sink, 2-burner electric/alcohol stove, microwave, mini fridge, and plenty of storage. The wet head features a Jabsco flushing toilet, sink, and shower.

Sleeping arrangements are great for family or friends. There’s a forward V-berth with a privacy curtain, a dinette that converts to a double berth, and a private aft double berth cabin—sleeping six comfortably. The cabin is heated by a Heater Craft heater and includes a Dual MXD337BT digital stereo receiver for music inside and out.

“Sea-J” also comes with a long list of useful extras—flares, lines, heaters, boat hooks, fluids, cleaners, and even a BBQ—helping you get on the water quickly.
