Description
This Van Wijk 830 is a special ship within the current offering. It is one of the rare versions with a full spray rail on the underwater hull. An upgrade that is rarely encountered, but offers enormous advantages: sailing is significantly drier, the boat is more stable, and the already strong sailing characteristics of the 830 are further refined.
With only 1214 sailing hours, this ship has exceptionally low usage for its age. Many parts are in good condition, although the foredeck and side decks will need attention in the long run (teak is due for replacement). The bimini and rear tent are complete but have seen better days.
Furthermore, the boat is particularly well equipped with, among other things, hydraulic steering, bow thruster, boiler, extensive teak finishing, and a bimini. The operation of the heater is unknown.
With some attention to the teak of the foredeck/side decks and eventually a new bimini & rear tent, this 830 can grow into a beautiful ship with great sailing characteristics.
