The Skipjack 262 is a sturdy, well-built West Coast fisherman designed to satisfy the needs of anglers seeking a trailerable, offshore-capable design. Heavily built on a solid fiberglass hull and well finished throughout, there are basic accommodations for four in the oak-trimmed cabin which includes a small galley, dinette, an enclosed head with shower, and adequate storage. The cockpit, with about 64 square feet of open space, is roomy and a large hatch in the sole provides easy access to the Volvo Penta AD41P 3.6 200hp diesel. Additional features include a full fiberglass cabin liner, fairly wide side decks, storage lockers, and a swim platform.
