Magnificent boat with open cockpit in excellent condition

This Pieterse 850 Cabrio is a particularly well-maintained and cared-for cabriolet boat, featuring a large open cockpit and a warm, elegant appearance. It is an ideal boat for relaxing cruises on inland waters as well as coastal areas, with an excellent level of comfort on board.

This model has recently been professionally repainted by the yard, benefiting from a completely new paint system on the hull and superstructure. This not only gives the boat a very fresh look but also ensures lasting protection.

What makes this model so attractive is its large open rear cockpit, offering plenty of space and freedom while sailing. The interior is equipped with a marine mahogany floor with white ash wood inlays, giving the boat a classic and very polished appearance. At the front, the cabin features a spacious U-shaped dinette, easily convertible into a comfortable double bed.

The kitchen (galley) is both practical and elegant, equipped with a stainless steel gas stove and a stainless steel sink, both covered with glossy black glass protection plates. The overall look is modern and perfectly finished.

With the canopy installed on the rear deck, the sailing season can be extended, as the living space on board is significantly enlarged.

The boat is also equipped with a powerful and reliable heating system from Webasto, allowing enjoyment of the boat even on cooler days.

The rear canopy is in very good condition and has been recently checked. All zippers work perfectly, and the tent opens and closes easily. When lowered, the boat offers a large open sailing space, while the wide side decks and numerous handrails ensure excellent safety on board.

The bathroom with toilet is clean, fresh, and well-appointed, with plenty of natural light and good ventilation.

The current owners are very experienced boaters, which is clearly reflected in the overall condition of the boat. The boat has always been carefully maintained. In 2024, several invoices are available regarding the maintenance of the engine and hull, and no notable degradation was observed during the inspection.

Super beautiful Pieterse 850 Cabrio

 

This model has just been painted by the shipyard, so completely new color on the hull and superstructure.

What I love so much about this type of model is the large open aft cockpit. Mahogany, wooden deck throughout the boat with white piping made of ash wood, take a look at the pictures of the beautiful front cabin with very spacious round seating.

There is a very nice kitchen area with a very nice stainless steel gas stove and stainless steel sink, both covered with black high-gloss glass plates.

The updated range of M-line marine diesel engines is impressive and in combination with the new air filter, the engine is "whisper quiet".

Lots of natural light in the salon and very practical storage spaces. The floor has very nice, sleek hatches, which also contain storage spaces.

In the front area, you can quickly convert the round seating into a double berth. The same goes for the open cockpit, where you can turn the benches into a sun deck, and with the tent on the aft deck, you can extend the seasons.

On board, there is a nice, heavy stove from the best brand Webasto.

The rear tent is nice and clean and has just been checked, all zippers run well and I have to know this because I quickly took the tent apart into two parts and it was also super quick to put back together. Clean tent.

If you lower the tent for a moment, you have a huge driving area, while the boat has nice wide walkways and many handholds with good safety grips around the boat.

The bathroom/toilet is the clean cabin, super fresh, with lots of natural light and good ventilation.

There are ongoing discussions about what the best choice is: an electric toilet or a manual toilet.

With an electric toilet, you wake people up on the boat at night, and with a manual one, you don't. Probably a small operation at night is enough for that.

In short, the selling owners have thought of everything, as they are very experienced water sports enthusiasts, and you can see that in this boat. The boat is extremely well maintained, it has been very well and carefully cared for, and in 2024 there are several invoices for both the bottom of the boat and the engine; I really couldn't find any small damages.

 

The boat is now extra cheap because the owner has bought a larger boat from our company, also from the same brand. So you can benefit from this offer.

There is a very nice kitchen area with a very nice stainless steel gas stove and stainless steel sink, both covered with black high-gloss glass plates.

The renewed series of M-line ship diesel engines is impressive. In combination with the new air filter, the engine is "whisper quiet." 

Lots of daylight in the salon, also here very many practical storage spaces. The floor has very nice sleek hatches where there are also storage spaces.

In the front point, you can quickly make a 2-person bed from the round seating area. The same applies to the open cockpit, where you can create a sun deck from the benches, and with the tent on the aft deck, you can extend the seasons because it increases your living/living spaces.

There is a nice heavy heater from the best brand Webasto on board.

The rear tent is nice and clean and has been checked, all zippers run smoothly and I can tell because I quickly had the tent in 2 parts and it was also super quick to set back up. A neat tent therefore.

By lowering the tent a bit, you have an enormous sailing area, while the ship has nice wide walkways and sufficient grip with good safety handles around the ship.

The bathroom/toilet is the neat cabin, super fresh with lots of daylight and good ventilation.

In short, everything has been thought of by the selling owners because these are very experienced water sports enthusiasts, and you can just tell by this boat. The boat is exceptionally well maintained, it has been taken care of very well and carefully, and in 2024 there are various invoices available for both the hull of the boat and the engine. I really couldn't find any small damages.

The Vetus M4.56 is a powerful and reliable inboard engine that is widely used in sloops, motorboats, and smaller cabin boats of about six to ten meters. With a power output of 52 hp (38.3 kW), the M4.56 delivers more than enough power for relaxed and safe sailing. The engine reaches a maximum speed of 3000 revolutions per minute and provides an impressive torque of approximately 127 Nm at 2000 rpm. This high torque at relatively low speeds ensures that the boat accelerates effortlessly and remains stable while sailing, even at lower speeds. This makes the engine particularly suitable for recreational sailing, maneuvering in harbors, and leisurely trips on inland waters and coastal areas.

The engine is designed as a four-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 1.76 liters (1758 cc). Thanks to the combination of a bore of 78 mm and a relatively long stroke of 92 mm, this engine is designed to deliver a lot of pulling power at low speeds. This means less strain on the engine, a smooth operation, and a very comfortable sailing experience. The engine operates with indirect fuel injection and has a compression ratio of 22:1, which contributes to efficient combustion and low fuel consumption.

Also in terms of sustainability and reliability, the M4.56 is thoughtfully designed. The engine features an indirect water-cooled system. Here, coolant circulates within the engine block itself, while a heat exchanger dissipates heat using outside water. This system offers several advantages: the engine operates at a stable temperature, the risk of corrosion is significantly reduced, and the lifespan of the engine is extended.
