Spring maintenance completed, including NEW bottom paint 2024, new zincs, fresh oil and filters, impeller's, raw water pump port engine and genset, all done in 2024. A very sporty, well-built express cruiser with luxury accommodations.
Below deck, the Maxum is laid out conventionally, with double berth in the bow, twin transverse berths under the helm station (these can be infilled to convert to a queen), a good-sized L-shaped galley, comfortable dinette to starboard. In addition she offers a comfortable head and shower to port.
The layout is very open, though the midships cabin and the forward double berth can both be closed off for privacy.
The twin Cummins diesel engines are efficient engines. The hull will plane with very little effort. Use a touch of down-trim on the tabs and the boat glides onto a plane with ease and grace. Very economical.
